Gladesville, SYDNEY NSW

The Hamptons look might traditionally be neutral, with whites and creams, greys and blues dominating, however our clients craved a more contemporary, edgy feel.

Using a darker colour palette and tones like charcoals and smoky blacks for their exterior colour palette, this Classic Hamptons home with a Contemporary Twist is a standout in a leafy, suburban street.

A Cambridge 38 Hamptons facade with a Colorbond Roof, Primeline Newport Cladding (James Hardie), Metallix Blackstone bricks (Austral) and render in dark hues are contrasted by striking white Juliet style balcony, window architraves, corbeling and timber posts.

Design features include:

  • A grand double-height ceiling atrium which leads onto open plan living to the kitchen and living areas

  • The family room is offset by the theatre which can be closed off to create the feeling of a private room

  • The internal ground floor is lined with engineered hardwood timber throughout

  • The butler’s pantry leads into the laundry with dual access from the garage and side entrance of the home

  • Open plan layout bathroom upstairs which features an oversized shower

  • Master bedroom features a double WIR and was designed to be separated from the open plan rumpus to create space between the upstairs living areas

  • Our clients loved their home so much they matched their children’s cubby house to that of the family home

Hamptons Design Guide

The word “Hamptons” conjures images of idyllic whitewashed houses and effortless coastal luxury. Inspired by the villages on the south of Long Island near New York, the Hamptons aesthetic is renowned globally as being the ultimate in clean, timeless elegance.

As the perfect fit for our coastal lifestyle, the Hamptons look has been adopted and tweaked by design-savvy Australians, who are taken with its combination of easy sophistication and coastal chic.

Design Process

Our Design and Construction process has been fine-tuned over time and it optimises the entire journey. Compliance, architecture, interior design, and construction are all interlaced to produce a comprehensive design that blends design and lifestyle aspirations with compliance and financial constraints.
